MD Anderson evaluates most new patients on an outpatient basis. A full outpatient evaluation usually takes three to five business days, depending on the amount of testing and consultation needed to assess the patient’s condition and recommend a treatment plan. After the evaluation is complete, physicians will receive a written report of the findings and recommendations. Referring physicians signed up with myMDAnderson for Physicians have online access to medical reports once they’re approved by MD Anderson staff.
