Partner membership brings the extensive expertise and resources of MD Anderson to communities across the nation as a co-branded, multispecialty cancer center. Partner member physicians and staff are fully integrated with MD Anderson across the cancer care continuum from prevention to survivorship, including translational research. Faculty and staff at partner locations integrate with MD Anderson physicians to deliver research-driven, patient-centered care that mirrors the institution’s prospective, multidisciplinary model.

Key Membership Criteria


Partner members must demonstrate a commitment to:

        A culture, mission and care quality consistent with MD Anderson

        Practicing MD Anderson research-driven, prospective, multidisciplinary clinical care

        Developing multidisciplinary sub-specialization based on market needs

        An employed physician model for all cancer service lines

        Cancer program physicians holding MD Anderson adjunct faculty appointments

        Joint recruitment or approval of faculty leadership

        Faculty education and training standards commensurate with MD Anderson

        Faculty integration and staff training

        Providing infrastructure to support clinical trials
